Early life and education
Mohammad Ahangari was born in September 1994 in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan, Iran. He currently lives between Dubai and Istanbul.
After studying mathematics and physics in secondary school, he entered the University of Tabriz to read mechanical engineering, graduating four years later.
Early in his studies he registered two packaging patents and earned three top grades at the state university. Discouraged by manufacturing obstacles, administrative bureaucracy, and how little his inventions were valued, he turned to self-employment alongside his degree.
Midway through university he decided to drop out, but continued to his bachelor's degree at the insistence of family and friends.
Entering the markets
Alongside his academic studies, Mohammad Ahangari entered the Iranian stock market in 2013.
With no leverage available and profit possible only on rising prices, the market demanded significant starting capital — which his family's modest finances did not allow.
Rather than stopping there, he developed a scalping approach that worked with small capital, targeting momentum in the market's financial and banking sector with precise entries. It was high-risk: up to ten percent gain on good days, up to three percent loss when he read it wrong.
Five years of trial and error in forex
From mid-2013, having gained a working command of technical and fundamental analysis, he moved into global markets and spent until 2018 gaining experience in forex.
By his own account he started with roughly $5,000, and the combined profit and loss across those years came to nearly half a million dollars.
Over those five years he lost more than sixty trading accounts before reaching full maturity in emotional control, market psychology, and command of his strategies.
In 2019 his profitable cycle took hold, and for the first time he was consistently profitable for a full year — closing it up 68 percent.
Managing capital and founding companies
Strong relationships with investors and later with financial institutions followed, and capital flowed his way: Mohammad Ahangari managed over ten million dollars of investor capital for six months.
He founded Strategic Traders and Creative Academy under Iran's Technical and Vocational Training Organization to teach financial markets formally — both to pass on his experience to young Iranians and to recruit the best of them into his trading room.
Between 2019 and 2022, close to four thousand traders trained under him, and more than 500 of them joined his trading room.
The birth of FeneFX
His funding company, which operated privately from 2019 to 2022, launched publicly in 2023 under the FeneFX brand.
In late 2022, banking restrictions and a lack of infrastructure led him to emigrate, and he registered companies in Turkey, the UAE, and the United Kingdom.
By 2023, Iranians working with FeneFX could both receive funding and trade with established global brokers.
Zero to Hero and the MAA strategy
At the request of a great many traders, he recorded a course distilling ten years of trading experience: “Zero to Hero,” over 1,600 minutes of intensive training.
Notably, it was released entirely free across all his channels, and more than a hundred thousand people have watched it.
In late 2023 he published the MAA strategy — a complete system built on free-market principles which, he says, lets any average trader reach consistent profitability.

Ahangari Holding
The companies Ahangari built one after another through his years abroad now sit under a single structure.
Ahangari Holding spans 12 companies across finance, technology, infrastructure and advisory: the FeneFX prop firm, the Strategic Traders academy and the trading room, the technical infrastructure companies, an internal oversight unit, and a marketing and branding arm.
The logic behind it is the one he set out with: every link a trader needs along the way — training, funding, technical infrastructure, oversight — built in-house rather than bought in. FeneFX is the group's funding arm, and it remains where most of his own attention sits.
Alongside the commercial businesses, the group runs a startup-backing programme and a free bootcamp, “The Trader's Professional Path” — a course built on real data and the analysis of thousands of trading accounts, available at no cost.

House of Traders
House of Traders is the trading talent-discovery competition Ahangari Holding runs — the largest talent-discovery event in the history of Iranian trading.
Contestants trade competitively under the eye of judges, with the strongest going through to a final. The point of the event is to find capable traders and put real capital behind them.
FeneFX is one of its principal backers — the same role Ahangari defined for his funding company from the start: find the talent, then fund it.
